Global Simulation Workshop

On September 22 & 23, 2006, 200 students participated in the Global Simulation Workshop, an innovative program that allows students to become global leaders responsible for running the world for 30 years.

Workshop participants were divided into teams representing different geopolitical regions; multinational conglomerates of corporations; and global organizations dedicated to special issues. Throughout the workshop, the teams traded both abstract and concrete resources: including wealth, technology, solutions, infrastructure, natural resources and more.

The Workshop aimed to build leadership and teamwork skills and to inspire students to explore the political, economic, and social challenges that we face in our global community.

The event was sponsored by the Crossroads Community Center, New College, Capstone International, SGA, Ferguson Center, Housing and Residential Communities, International Honors Program, and the Career Center.
